Build 5.4a Gundam GP03 Dendrobium SD BB#207
Here is the tentative look for the pink+gundam=pinkdam.
I will most definitely add a third and possible a fourth colour. Any suggestions!?!?
All pink spraying for the Gundam GP03 is complete.

AUD11 What a RIPOFF. Purchased from Mitre10.
Leave it to dry then I can work on the Gundammobile.

Zoom in. Not bad for my first individual part spray paint job. My first time was spraying the entire runner in black (Strike Gundam SD) then cutting off the pieces but yea not a good idea. Its better to separate the pieces then spraying them.
Leave it to dry then I can work on the Gundammobile.

Build 5.1 Gundam GP03 Dendrobium SD BB#207
Welcome to part 2 for gundam n00bies.... "How to properly cut off the gundam parts". I must admit all of my gundams has hideous scuff marks due to poor cutting techniques.
Thanks to guest commentator and gundam activist, Nat Chan.
Also with some interference from everyone's favourite rival©, Mr.P.
As you can see, even three guys that dunno anything about gundam can have fun putting them together!

Build 5.0 Gundam GP03 Dendrobium SD BB#207
Finally, my fifth gundam build . This time instead of pictures, I will be using youtube! Please visit my youtube page and be my friend :3
Taking my cue from other really popular gundam-ers such as prime92, vegeta8259 and rrobbert184. I will kick things off with part 1 - 'the unboxing video' ooooooh. Seems like its a must to unbox your kits, preferably when its just arrived in the mail. Unfortunately, I already opened and had a peek, but yea...
Mr. Nat Chan is guest commentator. So let's roll...
Ok for the cute gundams... they are numbered as they get released. The recent gundam unicorn was #360?! and this kit is #207... so its pretty old... but it has a gundam car!

Blog 3.0 A new gundam
I got a package today! Actually... I didnt... I had these photos for quite awhile and I was busy weeding. :|
The Dendrobium! Woot! The only reason I got this was because batman cant be batman without his batmobile... so Gundam cant be gundam without his gundamobile!
All the plates out of the box
Oh my gosh... look at the size of these parts! Its gi-normous-gantous-huge-big.
And thats it folks. As usual, I will colour it to some weird colour which will end up taking months to do. So for now... adios!

Today's video is brought to you by Bega Real Cheese Snacks for Kids! If I was still a kid, I'd eat Bega cheese snacks! Click on the ad, if you are a kid and love cheese! >>>>
Building this gundam as well as painting it took forever. I am starting to wonder if I really hate or love gundam robots. Anyways this is not a Bandai original but a knockoff. Enjoy!

Blog 2.4 Skinny jeans and Gundam GP03 Dendrobium SD
I've yet to wear my skinny jeans. Reason is because I don't have any shoes that goes with it. The only thing I think would go with the jeans is flip-flops, but that's not happening right in the middle of winter. I've seen Nat Chan in his skinny jeans and he wears chuckies with his skinny jeans.
I aint gonna wear chuckies .
Maybe with these kinda shoes
But I don't own these type of shoes either. Guess its gonna be flip flops in summer... unless I can find some slim type shoes. Runners? mmm no. But summer's so hot. Sigh why did I buy these jeans in the first place. I know, I will blame Nat Chan for influencing me, that beast.
Anyhoo, last week was my last shift working together with M.A.C. Good luck and it was awesome worknig with you! All the best working with that evil person that no one likes and who also happens to be the only person who isn't invited to an upcoming event. lol.
I am not sure if the readers noticed this but at the bottom of every page on this blog, there are link buttons.
This is a button I made for Mac.
And for Zyzzy's
And for Milk tea's
I gotta make more of these buttons for my friends' blogs.

Blog 1.8 New Gundams
I picked up two hard-to-find gundam SDs whilst I was in Indonesia. Didnt expect to find any gundams to be honest but when I saw them, I just had to get them despite proclaiming my departure from gundam building.
I got three gundam SDs but one of them is the very common and easily found Exia SD. King of gundam has a building blog on it. What I am more excited to blab about is Astray Red Frame SD! According to 1999.co.jp, this has been long sold out.
Droolz. Finally this guy can accompany my MG Astray blue frame 2nd revise.
Seems like the older SD gundams have more plates then the newer gundams. Part of building these gundams is putting them together. I like value for money meaning that I like to have lots of parts for my gundams.
The B plate with the red parts and the poly caps that make movement possible.
The C plate with the shield, crotch and shoulder parts. I dont really like the red frame's shoulders, I prefer the blue frame's. That is why I got the MG blue frame, but the newer MG red frame has 2 sweet chrome plated katanas
I also picked up Destiny SD which according to 1999.co.jp, is also sold out. I think I would appreciate these gundams more, if I watched the anime. I am just going by grabbing unique looking gundams. I did try watch Gundam seed, I forced myself to watch 10 minutes of one episode. It is pretty uninteresting.... I must say.
These plates have nice bright colours. A plate have feet and inner wings?
Its funny that they only provide one set of hands, with one in a 'give me high 5' pose.
Ooooh, see thru plastics is always a plus for me. Look at the nice wings.
Poly caps and the under side of the A and B plates.
This is one unique looknig gundam. I love the wings.
Ok this gundam was on sale at the same shop but I got this on pre-order at 1999.co.jp. The gundam that started it all.... inspiring me to create my internet last name, UNICORN. Oh by the way, yesterday I met a lady whose last name is, 'Last'. How awesome is that?
Mr. Unicorn: Excuse me, May I ask what is you last name?
Ms. Last: Last.
Mr. Unicorn: hehehe
I got this from 1999.co.jp. for 1480 yen which is roughly AUD20. Rip off! Well its better than buying it in Melbourne... AUD30-40!
I am actually very disappointed with the unicorn. The box is big as, but so few plates and parts. I can put this together in 5 seconds. What?
Look at that! So few parts... at least there is some see-thru parts.
Why is the blade curved? Can beam swords curve? I like my beam swords to be straight... grrr
So these are my latest gundams that will go back into its respective boxes which will go into storage. I might consider selling them for some outrageous price. I know there are some hard-core gundam fans outthere who will pay anything to get their hands on this Gundam Astray Red frame SD!!!! AUD100 anyone? lol
Buy me! We need a better owner!

Blog 0.6 BB #360 Gundam Unicorn SD
Oh my gosh. Like double oh my gosh. Like there's like 16 more sleeps until my favouritest gundam in the entire world is officially released.
Gundam Unicorn SD. Released 25th February. Probably will cost around under AUD30 inc. postage
This must be the greatest SD model ever! I will name my next cat, Unicorn. I will legally change my name to Unicorn-Jay. I will try to grow a uni-horn. I will do something relating to a Unicorn. I am contemplating to buy either one or two units of this model. One to build and one to keep and pass it to one of my great grandchildren.
Good night. I hope I dream about Unicorn tonight. Yummy.

Build 3.2 Gundam Aegis SD
TWO not one disasters in one day. I reckon that's like is the National maximum daily limit a man can tolerate. Firstly I strained the tendons of my left triceps at the gym,and here's the ironic bit, working my biceps. This means I have to lay off involving my arms for the next 1-2 weeks, so it will be strictly back and legs.
I had to sticky tape the broken bits or it might go missing, which will further compound my devastation.
My only superglue has dried up and its harder than both mine and Mr.P's biceps combined. So unable to glue that bit tonight.

Build 3.1 Gundam Aegis SD
Ok this is not really a build, as you have seen him previously in my other posts. I am actually doing a paint job on this guy but for the sake of organising my posts, I will call this a 'build'.
I've been so into this paint job that I forgot to blogarise it :P
First things was to decide on a colour.
I asked colleagues from work for suggestions, and finally decided on the primary colour, purple with white/silver as the secondary colour.
Then I fired up the good ol' MS Paint.
Grabbed a pic of Aegis from the 1999.co.jp website. I have not bought from this site yet, I have bought an action base 1 from Hobby Link Japan but I reckon the best place to get gundam is still Walter hobby.
Then I painstakingly colour its pink bits to purple and from black to white.
Looks good on the screen and I really like this colour scheme. Sold.
So then its on to Mind games to get my paint. This store is located along Swanston street, in the city. You will have to walk all the way to the back and up the steps to buy the paint and brushes. I found that this place is currently the cheapest place to get paint and brushes. I beg you to please not buy your kits and supplies from a certain shop in the city featuring a rude asian man. He tends to throw your change at your face.
I took apart my aegis and have been painting the parts purple over the week.
Most of the left side is the completed side and the most of the right side of this picture are the inside of the pieces will which when put together won't see the light of day. Just thought be nice to include 'before (pink) and after (purple)' shots.
I started painting the pieces silver only on the head but haven't completed it because I realise I have not been blogging about this paint job. So let's roll...
Here is the head in silver and purple.
And artistic shot no.2. Reminds me of the helmets that the characters in Lord of the rings wore.
After this build, I will commence Gundam Freedom SD.

Build 2.4 Gundam Striker Weapon System SD (FINAL)
PHEW! I am finally glad this build is over. My feelings for this kit were like a roller coaster. When I opened the box, I was disappointed with the colours of the runners and the details were badly done.
'Nevermind', I told myself. 'It's going to be ok'. I went on a high when I had the brilliant idea to spray it black and detail it gold. Spraying is fun. Inhaling fumes is not. Then it was onto the gold painting and during this time, I thought this is what playing with gundams was all about. Sitting with a cool breeze through my hair and the sun shining on my face as I paint the panel lines. I was in the zone, and not just any zone, THE GUNDAM ZONE. lol.
Then, I find that the pegs wont snap into the holes. I stabbed myself (in the finger and bleed so much, 30mL, I measured) while shaving the pegs so that it fit. Not a single peg would fit in its hole, every peg had to be shaved. And even after shaving the pegs, there were still gaps between the parts. The only thing holding this robot together is hope.
The sad thing after all this is that I wont be able to play with this robot, one slightest move and its arms or legs will fall out. I am all for pirated stuff or knock-offs but this particular 'brand' of gundam kits is just terrible plus horrible. What's worse is I have two more of this kits. But looking at it in its Black and gold glory redeems its many many sins. So as I end this woeful tale, instead of pictures, I thought I give my hand at my very first youtube video.

Build 2.3 Gundam Striker Weapon System SD
This is the woeful story of the golden Nintendo DSLite

Ok what the golden dslite is alluding to is that he is the only dslite of its type (the really shiny eye-blinding golden dslite - ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND IN MELBOURNE)
Finally some progress on the build. I have sprayed all the runners black

As you can see it camouflages with my carpet nicely.
And with my Midas touch...

I can guarantee you that this gundam will win the 2009 Bandai's Sexiest Robot of the year! All the female robots better becareful! I must say changing the colour of this gundam to black and gold was a nice touch.

One can compare the before and after colours of the runners by look at the previous entry here.
