Today is no ordinary foodview, folks. A very special edition of foodview for the entity that is being reviewed today is none other than myself, Jaystin Unicorn, and the food critics are Miss. Candy and Mr. Nat Chan.
Introductions
This 4 minute instant noodle is as popular as La Porchetta, however, Indomie tastes much better than any dish from La Porchetta. Competitively priced at AUD0.60 a pack, the manufacturers have hit pay dirt on this MSG loaded snack. Unhealthy much? Its so popular there is even an australian website. If one ever needs advice on which shares to buy, you know what to tell them.

For Nat Chan's order was two packets of Indomie. Two cakes of noodles in deep bowl with hot water just covering noodles for 5 minutes. Luckily there was a plate underneath to catch water spilling over. For my first time cooking two cakes of noodles in the microwave, I was quite satisfied with the outcome. Not overcooked and not too hard.
Candy ordered one packet of Indomie with an egg. Cooked the noodles for 2 and a half minutes, cracked an egg in and cooked for a further 1 and half minute. Sadly the noodles was soft (overcooked) and surprisingly the egg was thoroughly cooked. I realised I had put too much water. I knew this would get me a low score.
Verdict.
Both Nat and Candy finished the meal which is always a good thing.
Candy's overall score : 2 out of 5 stars
Candy's comment : "overcooked noodles and egg"
Nat's overall score : 3 out of 5 stars
Nat's comment : "nice but could be better"
Total averaged score : 2.5 out of 5 stars
Conclusion
As predicted Candy's score put me barely over the 50% mark. Well I have eaten some humble pie tonight. Now I know how it feels to have my food reviewed so moving forward, I will be even more impartial when doing foodviews of local Melbourne establishments. Some comments regarding tonight is that I am sure that 4 minutes in the microwave is the time needed to cook instant noodles and the amount of water used is important. Perhap for egg to be half cooked, it should be cooked for about 1 min +/- 10 secs.
